Introducing the ClimeEco C4-1500: A valuable addition to our MTC department

We are excited to announce that our Material, Transport, and Climate Simulations Department has acquired the ClimeEco C4-1500 from Weiss Technik. This new climate chamber is designed to enhance our ability to conduct environmental simulation tests, making it a valuable addition to our equipment.

The ClimeEco C4-1500 is now our largest mobile climate chamber (not a walk-in chamber) that meets European quality standards for temperature and humidity tests. With a test volume of 1500 liters, this chamber provides space for a large number of samples, enabling us to study various materials and packages. With a temperature range of –40 °C to +180 °C in combination with humidity control, we can simulate extreme environmental conditions and assess how materials and packages respond under various circumstances.

This climate chamber offers impressive features, including a quick temperature change rate of 3 °C/min and a humidity range of +10 to +98% RH. This flexibility allows us to conduct various tests, from reliability assessments to stress tests.

Consistency is key in testing, and the ClimeEco ensures that we maintain precise conditions. The humidity is stable ≤± 3% rH , while temperature stability is ≤± 0.5 °C . This precision will help us achieve reliable results and meet important testing standards like ASTM D4332.

The ClimeEco C4-1500 is an important new piece of equipment that we have recently acquired to support research for our clients. With its advanced features and user-friendly design, it will enhance our climate simulation capabilities. We are pleased to have this new apparatus now in use, and we look forward to providing our clients with accurate and reliable results that will advance their research projects.
