IBE-BVI is recognized by the Belgian Office for Standardization (NBN) as sectorial operator (SO) for standardization concerning packaging and more specifically with regard to the activities of CEN/TC 120 -261 and ISO/TC 51 - 52 - 122. In principle everyone can participate actively or passively in a commission.
*Passif member: receive the documents only for information.
*Actif member: receive and participate to standardization.

Q&A
We have 3 different types of memberships.
While all three include the promotion of your company and they all have the same discount for trainings, the differences stays in the percentage of discount that the company gets for testing:
Discount E1 members: 15%
Discount E2 members: 10%
Discount A members: 5%
The E-members have the possibility and the advantage to be play an actif role in the standardization process.

At the moment we accept as payment method only:

Our subscriptions work on an yearly calendar basis. Subscription during the year are possible on demand.
Yes, the training discount is applicable to all your employees.
All our members are promoted at IBE-BVI through different channels and ways.
- We offer the possibility to appear on our website with your logo
- Once per month a member can write a short article in our newsletter to promote themselves
- We display your business cards and or logo in our headquarter and at the events we attend
Yes, it is possible on simple request.
Our discount on testing can be used on every type of test. However the discount is not applicable on conditioning, audits, waste, administration and certificates.
A membership can be stopped with a letter to the president of the Belgian Packaging Institute, you can find the form here. This procedure needs to be done before the end of the year, due the 31/12/xxxx.
